Located outside the city of Glasgow, Chatelherault Country Park has an area of 200 hectares (500 acres), with 16 km (10 mi) of walking paths meandering through the ancient oaks and woodland. On the grounds is the restored, 18th century hunting lodge that was constructed to be used by the Dukes of Hamilton, whose grand palace also stood on the grounds. Before setting out on the paths, visitors may stop at the house, which now houses an exhibitions gallery, displays, a gift shop, a café and a reception desk Address: Carlisle Road Hamilton SLK Scotland ML3 7UE
